GLOBALMEDICALSERVICE (GMS) has a great experience in aspects that concern providing first aid on different levels to the armed forces.  

Courses of instruction are designed to address the medical theory and science behind the special needs of non-medical/medical providers in a theatre of war.  Our goal is to augment the skills already given you through your service and other training—to present you with cutting edge lessons learned from the battlefield—to give you additional confidence and knowledge.  Our mission is to train you to be your best when your best is needed in combat.  Our mission is to train you to save the life of the Warfighter sitting next to you.

The proposed subjects are:

The Tactical Combat Casualty Care course (TCCC) provides realistic, state of the art training to aid the students in gaining proficiency in treating all areas of trauma and basic medical treatments. Under the principles of TCCC. Students will receive this training through classroom instruction, basic skills training and the use of trauma and medical lane training. The functional skills developed will be supported by a final simulated battlefield environment for the familiarization of the potential environments that the student can possibly be assigned.

Field Training Exercises with Tactically Relevant Scenarios (involving Care under Fire, Tactical Field Care, CASEVAC, and Prolonged Care).

NoteThis course is very challenging and requires many off hours of dedicated study time in order to successfully complete.

Successful completion of this course results in certification.

CLP-The Combat Lifesaver program is a 4 day course designed for non-medical personnel to become familiar with treating patients using the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles. The primary focus in the classroom and on practical application is treatment for severe bleeding, performing a needle chest decompression for a Tension Pneumothorax and airway management with the use of a Nasopharyngeal (NPA.) 

Course Overview

During the 4 day period the student will complete the basic skills and graduate to a level of competence that will allow them not only to start the process of battlefield injury mitigation, but also bridge the gap between self-aid/buddy-aid. These skills will be transferable for those providing additional basic assistance to the Combat Medic as needed.

Successful completion of this course results in certification.

CMAST - The Combat Medical Advanced Skills Training (CMAST) course is a 7 day course designed for the medic to gain and reinforce those skills required to operate in a hostile environment. The student will learn the principles of Tactical Casualty Care (TCCC) and the application of it’s principles in a traumatic battlefield scenarios.

These skills will include classroom and hands-on application in the areas of:

  • Managing Blood Loss
  • Airway Management
  • Respiratory Injury Management
  • Circulation Shock Management
  • Casualty Assessment
  • Medical Ramifications of Blast Injury
  • Operational Burn Injury Management
  • Prolonged Care
  • Basic Wound Care Management
  • Basic Pain Management
  • How to Maximize Operational Performance

Course Overview

During the course, the student will complete the basic skills and move to a level of competence that will allow them to not only start the process of battlefield injury mitigation, but also assist at the Medical treatment facility level. The battlefield casualty environment can be stressful and extremely busy with the life of another person in your hands. This course will assist in keeping up to date with those skills required in the battlefield and locally during training events.

Successful completion of this course results in certification.

EMT-Tactical - is a 56-hour course that provides a foundation for medical personnel providing support to special response teams. The basic school integrates didactic, practical and field exercises to provide the student with the essentials of Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS).

. Course topics include:

  • Patient extraction and medical care in the tactical environment
  • Forensic evidence collection
  • Medical Threat Assessment and medical intelligence
  • Wounding effects of weapons and booby traps
  • Special equipment for medical support
  • Preventive medicine to ensure the health of your unit

We provide a course based on current science and actual experience specific to the unique environments and resources of operational units.

  • Urban Bomber Scenario
  • Vehicle Ambush Scenario
  • CASEVAC
  • BAS Operations
  • Mass Casualty Scenario (mortar attack)
  • Downed Helicopter Scenario

Successful completion of this course results in certification of special competence.

The training can be modified to meet the following templates with no loss of content.

GMS Instructors:

All of our courses are taught by Certified Senior paramedics, with extensive backgrounds in military field. In other words these men and women are proven trainers with extensive Israeli war experience in the past 20years. They don’t just teach it, but they live what they teach. Our senior paramedics spend the extra time and attention necessary to make certain that the concepts and techniques taught are demonstrated and reinforced in each participant, keeping safety and simplicity as their primary consideration.

We are medical trainers; we do not establish policy or protocol.  We contribute to these processes through our individual and collective experience on the field of battle.  We are educators, trainers and as such we are devoted to the transformation of warriors into warrior healers; the ultimate Warfighter—trained to save lives as well as take them.

We account for every minute of your training time; we will maximize your training   experience.  Ask questions, contribute, remain present, and focused.

Student Selection

Due to the completive nature of admission to this course, submission of all application materials does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Qualified students who

meet submission criteria and who are selected for seating in the course will be notified of acceptance directly by email.

Intended Audience

Warfighter, EMT-Basic level or higher providing medical support to a Tactical team.
